Pointe Golf Club Lookout Mountain

N 33°36.812' W 112°02.769'

This run is just north of Thunderbird and just west of Cave Creek. The run starts at N. Pointe Golf Club Dr and Sheena Dr. It's most likely considered intermediate level since you do have to know how to foot break but I don't think your achieving speeds that would require a slide. If you're so inclined you can continue to Thunderbird and make a left and skate down to 7th St. I wouldn't suggest it unless your comfortable skating along traffic. Probably a better idea for the early Sunday morning hours when no one is awake. If you travel just a bit south from that starting intersection you get to Sharon Dr. This is definitely advanced level requiring a lot of experience. I hope to one day be able to skate that but it is just too steep for my skill level. Here's a short clip of the Sheena run.

Welcome!

Welcome, if you're from the Phoenix area and your not currently one of my friends that I hang out with than I'm stoked to have you on my site... not that I don't appreciate my friends but I would really like to invite anyone knew visiting my site and that has a love a longboarding to hang out and visit often. My goal is to find new skate spots around town and share them with others. I currently have GPS so I'll be posting the coordinates on here so you can check out the runs that I've found. Mind you by no means am I an expert or a seasoned veteran but I have been skating for the past twenty years and longboarding for the last three. I currently like to ride between twenty and twenty five miles per hour. I find thats a really nice coasting speed and I don't have to worry about skating out of control (still haven't learned the coleman slide). So any hoot, please leave me comments especially if you would like to suggest a skate locale and or if you have a review on your current setup.

Cheers!
